MooreDiet is a personal project run by Sam Moore. It is offered free of charge to members of the Moore family and a small number of invited friends. By signing in you agree to the terms below. They are short on purpose.
What this app is
A nutrition logger. You type or speak what you ate; the app stores it in a household ledger and helps you track meals, recipes, weight, activity, and a few achievement badges. There is no professional medical, dietary, or fitness advice here. If you have a medical condition or are pursuing weight change, talk to a doctor or registered dietitian. Do not rely on this app for clinical decisions.
Who can use it
You must be at least 13 years old. Your Gmail address must be on the household allowlist; if it is not, the home page lets you ask Sam to add you. You may not sign in with someone else's account, share your sign-in, or attempt to bypass the allowlist.
Your account
The app uses Google sign-in. Sam does not see, store, or have any way to obtain your Google password. If you want to sign out everywhere, you can revoke the app's access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
Your data
What you type stays yours. Sam does not sell, license, or share your data with advertisers. The privacy policy at /privacy describes exactly what is collected, where it is stored, and how to delete it. To delete your data, email samrmoore@gmail.com from the address you signed in with.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, scrape, or attack the app or its server.
- Do not upload anything illegal, hateful, or harmful to other household members.
- Do not impersonate someone else or misuse another household member's identity.
- Use the AI assistant for nutrition logging in good faith; abusive prompts may cause the app to throttle or terminate your access.
Availability and changes
The app may go down at any time without notice while Sam is iterating on it. Features may appear, change, or disappear. Sam may pause, restrict, or end your access at his discretion. If the app shuts down permanently, you will be told in-app or by email and given an opportunity to export or delete your data.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. Use it at your own risk. Sam is not liable for any harm, financial loss, health outcome, or other damage that arises from use of the app.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking it out goes to the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico.
